01The short answer
Precision Junk Removal takes away old furniture, mattresses and box springs, and appliances from inside your home, garage or rental across Lakeland, Davenport, Tampa and Central Florida. You don't drag anything to the curb or wait for the city's bulk day. Text a photo of what needs to go, and you get a fixed price back, usually inside the hour.
One sofa or a whole house of furniture is priced the same way: from what the photos show, agreed before anything is lifted.
02What we take
- Mattresses and box springs, any size, and bed frames and headboards.
- Sofas, sectionals and recliners, including sleeper sofas.
- Dressers, wardrobes, tables, desks and chairs.
- Entertainment centers and bookcases, whole or in pieces.
- Patio furniture and outdoor sets.
- Office furniture: desks, filing cabinets, office chairs.
- Appliances: refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves and water heaters. Tell us if a fridge or freezer still has its refrigerant, because that costs more to dispose of.
We can't take paint, chemicals, gas cylinders or anything hazardous that has been left inside a piece. The full list is on what can't go in the can.
03Why people don't wait for the city
Free curbside bulk pickup exists, but it comes with a set date, a size limit and you doing the carrying:

Every one of those starts at the curb. A king mattress down a staircase, a sleeper sofa out of a back bedroom or a fridge out of a garage is the part people would rather pay for, and the part we do.
04How pricing works
- Send photos of each piece or each room, and say if it is upstairs or a long carry.
- You get a fixed price, usually inside the hour. Quotes hold for 14 days.
- A 50% deposit books the window, and the balance is due when the work is done. Zelle, Venmo, cash or card.
- 9 AM to 6 PM, seven days, Sundays at the same price. A call-out outside 9–6 adds $275 to the job price, and a call-out after midnight adds $399 to the job price.
- The first 50 miles from Lakeland are included. Between 50 and 85 miles adds $185.
If what is on site is materially different from the photos, we tell you the revised price before loading, and you can walk away with your deposit back.
05Good furniture, bad furniture
If a piece is clean and sound, a furniture charity may collect it for free, and that is worth a phone call first. Stained, broken, smoke-damaged or bedbug-suspect pieces, and most used mattresses, are where charities say no, and where a removal crew earns its fee.

It depends on how many and how far we carry them. Send a photo and you get a fixed price back, usually inside the hour.
Do you take box springs and bed frames?
Yes, with the mattress or on their own.
Do I need to carry the furniture outside?
No. We carry it out from wherever it is, upstairs included. Tell us about stairs in the photos.
Do you take old refrigerators?
Yes. Tell us if it still has refrigerant in it, because disposal costs more.
Can you come the same day?
